This policy explains which personal data arises when you visit www.nanoz.ai, what we use it for, and what rights you have. It is short, because little happens on this website — and that is deliberate.
No data protection officer has been appointed; in our assessment the conditions of Art. 37 GDPR are not met. For any data protection matter please write to sales@nanoz.ai.
Processing is governed by the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) as in force since 1 September 2023. Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to individual processing operations, we follow it as well. Where this policy cites articles of the GDPR, the corresponding provisions of the FADP apply by analogy to processing in Switzerland.
So that you can put the rest in context, here is what does not happen:
When you open this website, your browser makes not a single request to a third-party server. Everything that loads comes from nanoz.ai. That is also why you see no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.
With every request your browser transmits technically necessary information, which our host records in server logs:
We need this to deliver the site, detect faults and fend off attacks. We do not combine it with other data and do not evaluate it in relation to individuals. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, Art. 31(1) FADP).
We want to know which pages are read. For that we run our own counter on our own server. Each page view transmits exactly two items:
/technology.htmlgoogle.com, not the full
addressThe result is a plain tally: “on 26 August, /technology.html was opened fourteen times”. No IP address is stored, no identifier is assigned and nothing is placed on your device. Individual visitors can therefore neither be recognised nor followed across pages, and recognising you on a later visit is impossible. The data never leaves our server and is not passed to anyone.
Because in our assessment no personal data arises and no access to your terminal equipment takes place, neither consent nor a separate legal basis is required. To the extent the aggregated counts were nonetheless regarded as processing, they rest on our legitimate interest in shaping our information offering (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, Art. 31(1) FADP).
The contact page carries a form with the fields name, company, telephone, e-mail and subject. It matters how it works:
Your entries are not transmitted to our server. On submitting, your own e-mail program opens with a prepared message to sales@nanoz.ai. Only when you send that message yourself does the data reach us — by the same route as any other e-mail you write to us. Until then the entries remain solely on your device.
The legal basis for the subsequent handling is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry is aimed at a contract, otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
The newsletter works on the same principle: you enter your e-mail address, your mail program opens with a prepared subscription, and you send it yourself. We collect nothing further — no name, no IP address, no timestamp on our side.
We do not operate a double opt-in procedure, because your subscription is already confirmed by the e-mail you sent yourself. The legal basis is your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw it at any time without formality — an e-mail to sales@nanoz.ai is enough. We use your address solely for the newsletter and do not pass it on.
This website is operated at
Hostinger processes the server logs referred to in clause 4 as a processor on our behalf. The basis is the data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR, which Hostinger makes part of its terms of service as a Data Processing Addendum; it incorporates the EU standard contractual clauses. The provider is based in Cyprus and therefore within the European Union — no transfer to a third country takes place in connection with hosting.
If you send us an application, we process the documents submitted in order to conduct the recruitment procedure. If no employment contract results, we delete the documents four months after the rejection, unless legitimate interests require otherwise.
We assess applicants solely on their qualifications and therefore ask you to omit information on origin, political opinion, religious belief, trade union membership, genetic or biometric data, health and sexual life.
You have the following rights regarding personal data concerning you:
A message to sales@nanoz.ai is enough. We reply within the statutory periods. Where there is doubt about your identity, we may ask for further details.
If you believe we are not processing your data lawfully, you may complain to:
European Union: where the GDPR applies to a processing operation, to the supervisory authority of your place of residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement (Art. 77 GDPR).
All traffic on this website is encrypted with TLS; you can tell by the https:// in
the address bar. Beyond that we take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect
your data against loss, alteration and unauthorised access. Nobody can guarantee complete
protection against every conceivable threat.
If the processing on this website changes, we will adapt this policy. The version published here is the one that applies; the date is given at the top. Should we in future use services that require consent, we will obtain it beforehand.
